She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest McDaniel; her parents, Elmina Boggess and Hubert Gunnels; her siblings, Barnett Blackwell, Ora Rimpson, Emma Ellsberry, Joella Evans, Lugene Garrett and Troy Canady; and her grandson Darian McDaniel.
She is survived by: her sons, Ernest Cal McDaniel Grandview (Gloria), Frederick and Darryl; her stepdaughter Gail; and her sister-in-law Modiller Canady. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
