She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernie C. Highfill and Beulah Webb Highfill; her former husband Harold LaHue; her sons, Robert Wayne Rushing and Warren Wade Rushing; her son-in-law Timothy A. Clement; and her great grandchild Liam Heller.
She is survived by: her husband Earnest Rushing; her children, Deborah Clement of Butler, MO., Bryan Rushing of Hume and Melissa Rosson (Dwayne) of Amoret, MO.; her siblings, Patricia Keil, Janice Smith and Stanley Highfill; and her great grandchild Bandit. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren.
