She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ann Mayhue Wigfall and David "Billy" Irving; her grandparents, Arthur, Ruth Mayhue, George and Willie Mae Irving; her daughter Natasha Simpson; and her aunts, Yvonne "Bonnie" Mayhue, Gwendolyn Mayhue (Smith) and Dorothy Jones.
She is survived by: her significant other Willis Simpson; her sons, Cassius Simpson and Parris Simpson; her grandchildren, Seveah Simpson, Skyy Simpson and Cassius, Jr.; her sisters, Patsha Mayhue and Robin Mayhue-Brown; and her brother-in-law McLawrence Brown, III. She is also survived by many family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel, Inc. (4707 E Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64127). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
