Tegtmeier (Kansas City, Missouri), born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on July 4, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his father Walter Tegtmeier, Jr.; his daughter Kristen Tegtmeier Oertel (Robert Oertel); his grandchildren, Owen and Lily of Tulsa, OK; his son Walter Tegtmeier (Stephanie Tegtmeier); his grandchildren, Bella and Barrett of Leawood, KS; his former life partner Diane Tegtmeier (Jim Gilkeson) of Ashland, OR; his brother-in-law Sam Ogrizovich (Jane Ogrizovich) of Palos Heights, IL; and his nephews, Jeremy Ogrizovich of Dyer, IN and Jason Ogrizovich of Des Moines, IA. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Fittingly, the gift of blood donations, and the kind of work to which he dedicated his career, helped extend his own quality of life over the final months.
