With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Barnes of Kansas City, Missouri, born in Abilene, Kansas, who passed away on July 13, 2021 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Barnes to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jake William Barnes and Verna May Barnes (Bullington). He is survived by : his wife Betty Barnes (Suttles); his children, Geoffrey "Geoff" Barnes and Stacey Kochis (Tom); his siblings, John Barnes (Cheryl) and Merilee Thoenen (Jim); and his grandchildren, Cameron, Kylie, Chloe and Lakin Kochis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

George fought Parkinson's Disease with all he had, but succumbed to the disease after over a 10-year battle.
