He was predeceased by : his former life partner Drewlynn Lance-Campbell; and his grandson Colin Badger. He is survived by : his wife Gail Shaw-Campbell; his children, Karen Campbell-Nelson (John), Clay Campbell (Laura), Jennifer Campbell, Jonathan Campbell (Jennifer), Matthew Campbell and Kristin Campbell; his grandchildren, Emily Campbell, Garrett Campbell (Megan), Sam Campbell-Nelson (Becca), Katie Campbell-Nelson (Russel Freeman), Charlotte Campbell and Carter Campbell; his great grandchildren, Jadyn Devine, Cooper Campbell, Dawson Campbell, Raylee Campbell, Ellie Campbell-Nelson and Forrest Freeman; and his sister Martha Kogle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are received for the memorial fund at Hillside Christian Church for the establishment of a permanent endowment fund in honor of George.
