He was predeceased by: his parents, Rexford P. Hoyt and Oletha Bell Hoyt (Mills); and his brother Daniel Hoyt. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Hoyt (Shields); his children, Joel Hoyt, Jason Hoyt, Jake Hoyt and Megan Speaks; his grandchildren, Kayla, Lilly, Phoebe, Ana, Caleb and Allie; and his siblings, Roger Hoyt, Ken Hoyt and Shelley Kneeland (Hoyt).
