He was predeceased by : his parents, Isabelle Mura (Hood) and Edward G. Mura; his brother Edward Mura; and his son Joseph Mura. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Mura (Brinkman); his sister-in-law Patricia Brinkman; his children, Anemarie Pruett (Tom), William (Mia) and Elliott Mura (Chelsea); and his grandchildren, Joseph, Henry, Benjamin Mura, Madelinde Pruett, Simon and Olivia Mura.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Catholic Church (5141 Main St, Kansas City, MO 64112). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Visitation Parish (5141 Main St, Kansas City, MO 64112).
