With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kevin Leigh Lane of Kansas City, Missouri, born in Emporia, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2025 at the age of 52. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John, Alice Black (Lane), Bill and Hazle Hodges. He is survived by: his parents, Gary Lane and Judy Lane; his sisters, Michelle Henricks (Todd) and Kristi Heintzelman (Drew); and his nieces and nephews, Victoria, Alexandra, Garrison, Isabella, Gage, Eve and Reid.

His commitment to preserving beauty and history was reflected in his 14 years of service on the board of the Palm Springs Preservation Foundation and four years with the Los Angeles Conservancy.
