It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laurence Stanley Jacobson (Kansas City, Missouri), who passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Florence Jacobson and Al Jacobson. He is survived by : his wife Gretchen Jacobson; his brother Alan Marshall (Joan Jacobson); his children, Douglas (Emily Jacobson) and Ann (Steven Shure); his stepdaughter Nicole Gresham (Stewart Honeyman); his grandchildren, Theodora, Harrison, Malcolm Shure and Bliss Perry; his niece Elise; his nephew Andrew; and his pet Chloe.

Throughout retirement, Larry continued to teach Periodontics, served as a docent at the World War I Museum and Memorial, and administered vaccinations as an essential worker throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Harriman-Jewell in Larry's name.
