As we bid LaVerne farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For LaVerne is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olaf Soyland and Elizabeth Soyland; her brother Leo Soyland; and her husband Eugene Miller. She is survived by: her sons, Duane Miller of Ohio and Scott Miller of Colorado. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Meyers Northland Chapel (401 Main St, Parkville, MO 64152). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM.
