Marilyn T. Fennesy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn T. Fennesy of Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Carrigan and Mary Ellen Carrigan (Andrews); her husband Tom Fennesy; her sisters, Geraldine Carrigan and Regina Howard; and her grandson Dan Fennesy.

She is survived by: her children, Vince (Danette), Jerry (Amy), Jack and Nancy Monaghan (Mike); and her grandchildren, Tommy Fennesy, Donny Fennesy (Tori), Jaime Fennesy, Kyle Fennesy (Erin), Patti Fennesy, Sean Fennesy, Coleman Fennesy (Rachel), Katie Lindgren (Joe), Marie Monaghan and Sean Monaghan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (11822 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131). Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at the Forest Hill & Calvary Cemetery (6901 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO 64131).
