Marilyn Jean Perz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Jean Perz of Kansas City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marilyn Jean Perz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles L. Perz; her parents, Rudolph Maruskin and Lois Maruskin; and her brother Rudolph Maruskin. She is survived by: her daughters, Lois Grogman (Doug), Linda Fleeman (Al) and Dianne Sears (Randy); and her grandchildren, Michelle Kellogg (Greg), Tommy Hottovy (Andrea), Tim Hottovy (Breanna), Lisa Connally, Nicole McDaniel (Kyle), Cody McShane (Zaira), Lexi Showman (Mike), Holly Hottovy and Melanie Gilliam. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church (9020 E 51st Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64133). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 9:40 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled Veterans (DAV).
