He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Myers and Dorothy Myers; his father-in-law Rooney Carr; and his sibling's children, Daniel Cornelison and Jaycee Stockwell.

He is survived by: his wife Charri Myers; his children, Andrew Myers (Jody), Stephanie Reifert, Sarah Adair (Jeff) and Amber Myers; his brother Mark Myers (Jane); his grandchildren, Gavin (Carson), Christopher, Allison, Gunnar, Ethan and Annistyn; and his mother-in-law Addie Carr.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heartland Church of Christ (6120 NW Prairie View Rd, Kansas City, MO 64151). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Johnson County Memorial Gardens (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210).
