He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ortiz Sr. and Theresa Castillo Ortiz; his wife Rita; his daughter Paulette Marie; and his siblings, Robert Ortiz, Theresa Soltero and Carol Miller.
He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea Arroyo (Joe), Monica Ortiz, Gerarda Ortiz (Sam Sparks) and Teresa Rodriguez (Ramon); his grandchildren, Sierra, Christopher, Serena, Ramon, Anthony, Paul and Carlos; and his siblings, Joe, Henry, Michael, Johnny, Andy, Charlie, Delores Marcase, Rita Hernandez, Linda Garcia, Tina Padilla and Debbie Ortiz.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Guardian Angels Church (1013 Westport Rd, Kansas City, MO 64111). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
