Paul S. Carothers Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul S. Carothers (Kansas City, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Paul S. Carothers to pay them a last tribute.

Though Paul may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Paul touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Stanley and Lucy Helms Carothers. He is survived by: his wife Holly Zaun; his children, Grant Carothers (Sue), Janie Schmidt (Rob), Scott Carothers and Mina McMullin (Jim); his stepchildren, Shelley Garrison (Darren), Todd Zaun (Kathy) and Derek Zaun (Nadine); and his former wife Lee Quackenbush. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Village Hospice 600 NW Pryor Rd, Lee's Summit, MO, 64081 or Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T.org).
