He was predeceased by: his wife Fern; his son Gary; and his siblings, Howard Ball, Ivyl Ball and Edith Conn (Sterl).
He is survived by: his daughter Janice Stephenson (Vincent); his grandchildren, Michelle Strong (Roger) and Eric Stephenson; his great grandchildren, Torin, Hunter and Violet Strong; and his brother Roy Ball.
