With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth (Hanes) Sandt (Kansas City, Missouri), who passed away on July 28, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Leo; and her daughter Mary Elizabeth. She is survived by : her children, Linda Whipple (Mike), Jim Sandt (Robin) and Annie (Mike Poston); her grandchildren, Joe Whipple, Kris Whipple (Tammy), Jennifer Goens (Brian) and Amy Cunningham (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Alexis Whipple, Megan, Aaron and Zac Goens. She is also survived by children, grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to Bishop Sullivan Center, 6435 E. Truman Rd., Kansas City, MO 64126.
