It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Maxine Hughes in Kansas City, Missouri, born in Linn, Missouri, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Ailor and Louise Ailor (Cosgrove); and her husband Donald Wayne Hughes. She is survived by: her sons, Tonie Hughes (Teresa) of Galena, MO, Terry Hughes (Patricia) of Sandia, TX, Martie Hughes (Teresa) of Bryan, TX and Todd Hughes (Donna) of Baldwin City, KS; and her sister JoAnn Drye of Nixa, MO.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
