He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenz Beck of Jefferson City and Theresia Beck (Roehrs) of Concordia, Missouri.; his children, Dana Hackett (Bruce), Tim Beck and Debbie Hill (Dave); his siblings, Clifford Beck, Lynette Baker (Bob) and Kenneth Beck; and his son Dan Beck.
He is survived by: his spouse Ara Lee Beck (Duncan); his grandchildren, Shannon Hackett, Ben Hackett, Jeff Beck (Lindsey), Samantha Garrett (Chris), Duncan Hill and Devin Hill; and his great grandchildren, Dalton, Ayden, Lily, Jordan and Kinsley.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133). The military honors was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (Higginsville, MO 64037).
