With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zelia Marler VanHoose of Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on April 2, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Olin Spencer and Ethel Spencer; her husband Quincy Marler; her brother John Spencer; and her former life partner Arthur VanHoose.

She is survived by : her brother James Spencer of Blue Springs, Missouri; her daughters, Audrey Marler of Kansas City and Bonnie Gorman (Scott) of Blue Springs, Missouri; and her grandsons, Blake Gorman (Katie) of Kirkwood and Jacob Gorman of Blue Springs.
