He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Ellison and Mary E. Ellison (Gardner) of Kearney; and his nephew Kurt D. Ellison. He is survived by: his wife Mary M. Herdmen; his daughter Brenda Jones (Ellison) of Lathrop; his brother L. Glenn Ellison of Kearney; his son-in-law Jeffrey Jones; his grandchildren, Tyler Jones (KS) and Megan Jones (MO); his sister-in-law Marry Ellison (McGinnis); and his nieces, Kelly Thuston (Wendy), Shelly Barry (TJ) and Terri Greene (Jeff).
