She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Daniel Carl and Mary Elizabeth Schipfer (Spence); her husband James Gum of Kearney; her daughters, Amy Whitener (David) of Kearney, Robin Foster (Steve) of Overland Park and Jennifer Perkins (Tony) of Post Falls, Idaho.; her grandchildren, Andrew Whitener (Kathleen), Zachary Foster, Timothy Whitener, Sophie Foster and Reid Perkins; her great grandchildren, Riley and Will Whitener; her siblings, Daniel Schipfer, Jr. (Marty) and Jane Hayes (Roger); and also Liz. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
