He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Hadley Butner, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Butner (Blue); his son-in-law Dan Ross; his granddaughter Tara Siegfried; and his sister Betty Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Burgess; his children, James "Jim" Butner, Jr., Tammy Moore (Brent) of Equality, IL and Rhonda Ross; his siblings, Coy Butner, Jr. (Glenda) and Barbara Shockey (LeRoy) of Edwardsville, KS; his grandchildren, Chanda Binstock (Jeff), Kiera Ross, Chelsea Ross, Kayla Ross and Paige Victoria (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Craig, Joshua, Brylee, Konner, Adalynn, Roman, Beckham and Brenna.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, the memorial services for Jim will be private family services as to keep all well during this time.
