He was predeceased by: his wife Anna; his stepparents, Helen Acuff and Vernon Gorener; his stepsiblings, Thomas Beatty and Beverly Vanuer; and his sister-in-law Dorene Acuff.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Acuff, Christopher Acuff (Kim) and Coral Sode (John) of Lebanon, MO; his brother Jerry Lee Acuff of Kearney, MO; and his grandchildren, Harley Acuff, Courtney Acuff, Makanda, Rainier and John Robert Sode. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
