She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Bennett and Frances Bennett; her former husband Ron Hunter; her son Chad Hunter; her husband Everett Johnson; and her brothers, Wilford, Lawrence, Alton and Leonard Bennett.

She is survived by: her son Bryan; her sisters, Deloras Dunlap, Louise Jones and Joan Quinn; her grandchildren, Michael Hunter, Michelle Hunter and Cole Hoover; and her great grandchildren, Natalee Hunter, Brynna and Jack Hoover.
