He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Whitteck and Bessie Jensen. He is survived by: his wife Jenifer; his children, Emilee Thompson (Chris) of Holt and Jason Whitteck (Kari) of Kearney; his grandchildren, Lane, Madysen Thompson, Addyson and Deacon Whitteck; his siblings, Mark Whitteck (Linda) of Webb City, MO and Judy McGrath (David) of Independence; his stepsiblings, Everett Fisher and Kelly Vogel; and his aunt Mary Esteb (Terry) of Independence. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kearney First United Methodist Church or to the Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation (https://mochf.org) to support the Smithville Lake Disabled Deer &Turkey Hunts at Smithville Lake, which Pete participated in numerous times. If donating to the Heritage Foundation please write in the notes that your donation needs to go to the Smithville Lake Disabled Deer and Turkey Hunt for the purchase of a new blind in honor of Pete Whitteck.
