It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Josephine Leonard (Keytesville, Missouri), born in Mendon, Missouri, who passed away on September 19, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Philip Speichinger and Adeline Speichinger (Zapp); her husband Rufus W. Leonard; and her brothers, Robert Speichinger and Vincent Speichinger, Sr..
She is survived by : her children, Charles Leonard (Willis) of Keytesville, MO, Lula E. Marcusson of Salisbury, MO and Helen Leonard of Warrensburg, MO; her grandchildren, Beverly Atkinson (Steve), Chuck Leonard, Annette Widmer (Jerry), Diana Matthews (Jeff), Tina Atkinson (David), Erica Iman (Eric), Nick Pinkston and Natalie Sadler (Phillip); her siblings, James Speichinger, Loretta Adams and Marjorie Speichinger; her sister-in-law Leigh Speichinger; and her sister Anna Rose Speichinger. She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
