It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betty Jane (Griswold) Jones of Kirksville, Missouri, born in Brashear, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 85, on April 8, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Herman and Eunice Edna Griswold (Wilson); her husband Donald Paul Jones; her siblings, Tom Griswold (Betty Lou), Bob Griswold (Edith), Bill Griswold (Louise), Donnie Griswold, Louise Eichemier (Ike) and Bonnie Pope; and her brother-in-law Dave Tharp.

She is survived by : her siblings, Darlene Jackson (Leroy) of Moberly, MO, Leona Tharp of Rolla, MO and Jack Griswold (Bob Boyd) of Kansas City, MO; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Pope of Owasso, OK and Virginia Griswold of Queen City, MO. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Betty attended school in the Brashear public school and was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 1955 (in the old building) and enjoyed meeting with other classmates for lunch once a month until the pandemic came.
