He is survived by : his daughter Michele Burnett of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his grandson Kaleb Bryan of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his former life partner Shirley Burnett of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and his sister Florence Gessner of Macon, Missouri..
