She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alvin and Sarah Lillian Grissom (Long); her husband Henry Marion "H. M." Grissom, Jr.; her granddaughter Michaela Bleything; her brother Alvin Walker; her nephew Gary Grissom; and her half-brother Darrell Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Eldon Grissom (Linda) of Kirksville, Loren Grissom of Kirksville, Sherry Treasure (Roger) of Kirksville and Pam Bleything (Todd) of Brashear; her grandchildren, Eldon Grissom, Jr. (Mindy), David Grissom (Christy), John Paul Grissom, Ryan Treasure (Tanya), Renee, Kristen Braaten (Eric) and Jacob (Hailey Bleything); her great grandchildren, Taylor Elgin, Drew Jones, Jayse Jones, Dreyton, Devan, Morgan Grissom, Leah, Hannah, Caleb Grissom, Teagan Treasure, Kolby, Kolton, Kenzie Braaten and Blakely Bleything; her stepbrother Ernie Walker; and her half-sisters, Sharon Brown and Linda Page. She is also survived by three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Travis-Noe Funeral Home (1008 W Potter Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations in honor of Hazel may be made to Yarrow Cemetery.
