He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Helton and Mary Helton; his wife Frances Helton; and his siblings, Mary Mauck, Treva Byers, Albert and Harley Helton.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Helton (Faith) and Katheryn Helton; and his granddaughter Shelly Helton. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Playle-Rimer-Millard Family Funeral Chapel (2100 E Shepherd Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Park View Memorial Gardens (2100 E Shepherd Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501).
