He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his grandson Liam; and his brother Jay. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Ferrick (Tom Terrio), Patty Brandt (Jeff), Jim Ferrick (Elizabeth) and Tim Ferrick (Dana); his grandchildren, Lexie, Andrew, Peter, Bertie, Jimmy, Charlie, Katie, Winnie, Will, Nora, Timmy and Blake; his brothers, Nelson and Pete; his nephews, John and Justin; and his cousin Sweeney.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
