We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2024, at the age of 82, Ben Jerry Sykes of Lake Tapawingo, Missouri, born in Athens, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Jefferson Sykes and Francis Catherine Sykes. He is survived by: his wife Melinda; his siblings, Sandra Farrow and Timothy Sykes; and his sister-in-law Pam. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to City Union Mission (cityunionmission.org) or Colonial Presbyterian Church (colonialkc.org/give/).
