She was predeceased by: her mother Charlotte Ruth Lankford (Hill). She is survived by: her father Glen Lankford of Bloomfield, MO; her husband John Powell of Lake Tapawingo, MO; her children, Daren Telker of Kansas City, MO, Josh Oberhaus of Lee's Summit, MO, Mitchell Oberhaus of Grain Valley, MO and Ashley DePung of Independence, MO; and her brother David Lankford of Bloomfield, MO.
She had served as an Administrative Assistant for the American Cancer Society and later had worked for Dillard's Stores.
