He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. Drake and Eleanor Drake (DeLacy); his wife Donna Drake; and his sister Mary E. Drake. He is survived by: his children, Richard Drake Jr. (Cheri) of Blue Springs, MO, Susan Stiles (Mike) of Lake Tapawingo, MO, Theresa LaRose (Tony) of Lee's Summit, MO and Cristina Valdivia (Ray) of Blue Springs, MO; and his brothers, James F. Drake Jr. (Carole) of Minneapolis, MN and Thomas E. Drake (Sue) of Pryor, OK.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
Masks and social distancing will be required at all times in the church.
