He is survived by: his spouse Billee Lue Rigg; his children, Tom Herndon (Cathy) of Blue Springs, David Herndon (Marjorie) of Independence and Kathleen Morgason (Bill) of Lake Tapawingo, MO; his brother John David Herndon (Yong) of Lee's Summit; his grandchildren, TJ Herndon (Jennifer), Tyler Herndon (Christina), Nisha Gaffney (Michael), Todd Morgason and Traci Jenson (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Rylan Thomas Herndon, Adalynn Herndon, Theodore Gaffney, Luke Jensen, Maria Jensen and Andres Jensen.
