He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wood and Clara Belle Wood (Davidson); his spouse Jessie Bula Rogers; and his son-in-law David Carpenter. He is survived by: his children, Julia Roskamp of Kannapolis, NC, Jeanette Carpenter of Lamar, MO and Clark Wood (Cathy) of Lamar, MO; his grandchildren, Andrew Roskamp (Lori), Jessica Woods (Steve), Janelle Orozco (Eli), Joci Schumann (Kendall), Justin Carpenter, Nathan Carpenter (Megan), Dustin Carpenter (Carly), Amanda Wood, Caleb Wood (Janessa), Colby Wood (Emily), Addison Rice (Jacob), Casey Wood and Andrea Wood; his great grandchildren, Phillip Roskamp (Natalie), Anna Roskamp, Matthew Roskamp, Ella Roskamp, Jackson Woods, Luke Woods, Claire Woods, Sawyer Schumann, Levi Schumann, Paxton Wilderman, Arabelle Carpenter, Charles Wood, Carrington Wood, Cadence Wood, Clancy Wood, Carter Wood, Cash Wood, Colt Wood and Jessie Rice; and his great great grandchild Weston Roskamp. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving family members.
Charles was concerned with the current spread of Covid 19 and wanted everyone to wear masks at his service.
