It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Shipley of Lamar, Missouri, born in Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claude Arthur Shipley and Wilma June Shipley (Endecott); his former wife Barbara Sue Petersen; his wife Sue Shipley; his children, Scott Shipley, Stephen Shipley, Shawn Shipley, Mike Shipley, Jackie Scott, Sherry Barber, Jodie Barker and Melody Shipley; his grandchildren, Stella Shipley and Benson Shipley; and his siblings, John Shipley, Claudia Hennessey and Judy Brobst.
