James T. Cofield Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James T. Cofield Sr. (Lamar, Missouri), born in Bardwell, Texas, who passed away on February 16, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gilliam Cofield and Mary Ethel Cofield (Vise); his former wives, Betty Jane Burton and Betty Jane Cofield; and his brothers, Edward Cofield, E. J. Cofield and Cecil Cofield.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Ward; his children, James Terry Cofield Jr. and Dorothy Jane Chastain (Charlie) of Farmington, MO; his stepsons, Jerry Bishop of McCook, NE and James Bishop (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Tammy, Heather, Tra, Jared and Joel; and his great great grandchild Bentlee Lucas Ehrsam. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
