He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oeltjen and Anna Oeltjen (Pantze). He is survived by: his wife Hannah Oeltjen (Fry); his pet Fritzy; his children, Sherri Pittsenbarger (Don) of Lamar, Rick Oeltjen (Pam) of Carthage and Tim Oeltjen (Glyndora) of Carthage; his siblings, Darla Reno of Lamar, Mary Lou Rathbun of Rochester, MN, Ernie Oeltjen of Rochester, MN, Albert Oeltjen of Rochester, MN, Melvin Oeltjen of Wichita Falls, TX and Don Oeltjen of Smithville, MO; and his grandchildren, Gabe Oeltjen (Lara), Erin Gomez (Rob), Phillip Oeltjen (Jarica), Ryan Souza (Justin), Rusty Pittsenbarger, Mike Pittsenbarger, Lori Bartlett, Valerie Guerin and David Davis. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
