He was predeceased by: his parents, Morrise Glen and Mary "Ruth" Newcomb (Long); his wife Marilyn Coll; his siblings, Harold Newcomb, William "Bud" Newcomb, Robert Newcomb, Morrise "Junior" Newcomb and Maurine Bradley; and his siblings-in-law, Okie Deen Bradley, Mardell Newcomb and Carol Newcomb.
He is survived by: his siblings, Evelyn "Maxine" Phillips (Emmett) of Memphis, MO and Charles D Newcomb (Shirley) of Greentop, MO; his sister-in-law Betty Newcomb of Indianola, IA; and his brother Larry Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
