He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Barnes and Ellen Barnes (Brubeck); his wife Connie Jean Bartee; his siblings, Larry Barnes, Glen Barnes and Connie Greer; and his cousin Jerry.
He is survived by: his children, Kimilia Mauk (Rick) of Grapevine, TX, Roger Barnes (Keva) of Altamont, De Ana Seitz (Louis) of Cameron, Paula Delka (Mark) of Decatur, TX, Lesia Kelley (Charles) of Altamont, Crista Myers of Liberty and Steve Barnes (Jennifer) of Holt; and his brother Jack Barnes (Sue) of St. Joseph, MI. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, plus one on the way; nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
