He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Reid and Irene Reid; his wife Shirley Reid; his daughter Callie Reid; his stepson Danny Armstrong; and his brothers, Sam Reid and Franklin Reid.
He is survived by : his former life partner Shirley Whitaker; his siblings, Jerry (Leona Reid) of St. Peters and Barbara (Denis Feld) of Akron; his stepdaughter Jill Armstrong of Illinois; and his close friends, Kerri, Wayne, Dennis, Ron, Rich and Tom. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 in Donald's memory.
