He is survived by : his wife Betty Basinger (Talley) of Leasburg, MO; his children, Dean Basinger (Dottie) of Bourbon, MO and Debbie Spurgeon (Mark) of Sullivan, MO; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Henn (Andy) of Bourbon, MO, Jennifer Ahrens (Justin Hunicke) of Bourbon, MO, Deana Gebhard (Mike) of Pacific, MO, Sean Basinger (Denea) of Sullivan, MO, Jimmy Spurgeon of Union, MO, Justin Spurgeon (Tina) of Villa Ridge, MO, Jeremy Spurgeon (Amanda) of Union, MO and Kristen Fiedler (Josh) of Sullivan, MO; his great grandchildren, Silas, Dominick, Jetta, J. C., Prudence, Ethan, Ella, Kendra, Landon, Lexis, Devin, Abby, Vincent, Paxton and Maiya; and his sisters, Christeen Karleskint (Jack) of Sedalia, MO and June Harman (Eddie) of California, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
