He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Helton and Lola Snow. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Bird of Eureka, MO; his grandchildren, Mikayla and Dawson Bird of Eureka, MO; and his siblings, Steve of Versailles, MO, Richard of Brumley, MO, Tim of Lebanon, MO, Jaime of Eldon, MO, Tammy of Iberia, MO and Lisa of Vichy, MO. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
On Wednesday, July 7, 2021 Rick Helton lost his battle with Parkinson's disease at Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri.
