He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Clouse and Ada Jacobs; his parents, Loyd and Iva; and his siblings, Jim Jacobs, Joyce Bruggerman and Judy Bartlett.

He is survived by : his children, Susan Gates of Kingsville, MO, Melissa Snider of Raytown, MO and Michael Jacobs of Lone Jack, MO; his stepson Rick Wasson; and his brother John Jacobs of Peculiar, MO. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
