Nikki A. Ritter Obituary

Nikki A. Ritter, 52, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, passed away on June 10, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Nikki was a woman of many talents and passions. Although she graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Engineering, Nikki chose to dedicate her time to raising her beloved children: Ritter Krueger, Reagan Krueger, and Luke Krueger. Her family was her pride and joy, and her unwavering love for them was evident in everything she did.

Known for her strong-willed nature and passion, Nikki had a remarkable eye for vintage finds and became a skilled thrifter. Her sense of humor was as sharp as her eye for treasures, bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Nikki's fun-loving spirit shone brightest when she was with friends, sharing drinks and creating lasting memories.

Nikki is survived by her three children, her mother Margaret Ritter, and her siblings: Mark Ritter, Ryan (Audrey) Ritter, Kristin (Mark Land) Ritter, and Justin (Melissa) Ritter. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A graveside service in memory of Nikki will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri at 10 AM on June 18th, followed by a celebration of her life at Dusty Shelf Farm in Lee's Summit, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Children's Mercy (https://support.childrensmercy.org), with thanks to their cardiovascular surgery team, a cause close to Nikki's heart.
