He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Eugene and Susie Mollie Campbell; his child Rochelle Campbell; his siblings, Walter Campbell Jr., Ralph Campbell, Joree Campbell, James Campbell, Dorothy Warren and Loretta Lumpkin; and his wife Beatrice Haynes.
He is survived by: his siblings, Arbery Campbell, Flora DeVasher and Prince Ann Campbell; his former wife Barbara Campbell; his children, Reene Campbell Williams of Roswell, GA, Rodney Campbell of Topeka, KS, Sharil (Henry), Tarah Daniels (Seth) of Lee's Summit, MO and Maggie Haynes of Lee's Summit, MO; and his grandsons, Joseph and Jackson. He is also survived by five children; two sons-in-law; and two grandsons.
