She was predeceased by: her parents, James Goosey and Beulah Goosey (Kennedy); her daughter Tammy Jean; her sisters, Doris Jackson, Jean Ann Pooler, Alma Gannaway and Mary Lou Bullock; and her daughter-in-law Trudy Waters.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Waters (Rita) of Holt, MO, Timmy Waters (Genelle) of Chillicothe and Teresa Hooper (Roger) of Independence, MO; her daughter-in-law Anita Waters of Pittsburg, MO.; and her brother Bobby Goosey (Carol) of Fresno, CA. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In Lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to go to the St. Judes Children Hospital.
